History
The Centralian Land Management Association (CLMA) was formed in 1988 by local pastoralists with support from the Alice Springs branch of the Northern Territory Cattlemen's Association. The fledgling group developed a constitution and appointed an executive committee with Bob Barber from Mt Skinner station as the first president. CLMA became an incorporated community group in 1990. Membership is open to all pastoral lessees and/or managers in central Australia (one vote per station).
